Biodiversity: Integrated approach towards organic varieties | Article
Preface
Biodiversity has been given the name of different types of flora and fauna living together. It has changed the meaning of words like tribal prosperity and ethnic diversity.
Biodiversity - Integrated approach towards organic varieties
There are many other terminologies to explain biodiversity, the main ones being ecological diversity (arising from ecosystem), taxonomic diversity (resulting from the quadratic system), functional diversity (resulting from functional mechanism) and morphological diversity (resulting from genetic diversity). Biodiversity reflects and collects a new attitude towards all of them.
Why is biodiversity important?
The rationale behind biodiversity being important is that it maintains the balance of the ecological system. Different types of animals, birds and vegetation cater to each other's needs and also depend on each other. Take man as an example. It is also dependent on animals, trees and other species for its basic needs like eating, living. The richness of our biodiversity makes the earth worth living and living.
Unfortunately, increasing pollution is having an adverse effect on our environment. Many trees and plants have lost their existence due to the ill effects of pollution and many are on the path of extinction. If this remains so, then the day of the apocalypse of all species is not far off.
How to save biodiversity?
First of all, the man has to understand the importance of biodiversity. Large vehicles running on roads are spreading pollution on a large scale, which is a great threat to mankind. To save the purity of the environment, these vehicles have to be controlled so that they do not contaminate the environment further. The contaminated water released from the factories is impairing water life. There has been a crisis on the lives of living creatures in the water Proper management of this contaminated contaminated water must be done as soon as possible so that it does not take the form of a major disaster. Similarly, noise pollution will have to be curbed.
Deforestation is also a major reason for the decline in biodiversity. Due to this, not only the number of trees is decreasing, but their animals are being snatched away from many animals and birds which has become a big problem in their life. Considering the degradation of the environment, it has to be controlled with immediate effect.
The Conclusion
Each plant and organism has a different purpose in making the environment habitable. Therefore, if we want to raise the purity of our environment to a higher level, then we have to concentrate on maintaining the balance of biodiversity.
